Heeyoung Kwon is a Research Scientist at Meta since December 2020 and has been an active member of Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity since March 2011. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Candidate, Research Assistant, Graduate Student, and Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University from August 2013 to December 2020, where coursework included Principles of Database Systems and Machine Learning. Heeyoung Kwon completed a PhD in Computer Science at Stony Brook University between 2015 and 2019, alongside a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution from 2013 to 2015. Previous internships include a PhD Software Engineer Intern position at Facebook in summer 2019 and an internship with the Aristo Team at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) from January to April 2018. Education began at Yonsei University, culminating in a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2006 to 2013, along with a semester as a Visiting Student at Illinois Institute of Technology in early 2011.
