Hasitha Verma is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in reporting, accounting policy, and financial management. Currently serving as the Head of Reporting & Accounting Policy at Meta, Hasitha has previously held significant positions including VP Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller at PayPal, as well as leadership roles in M&A finance. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Accounting Research at Citi and Senior Manager of Global Disclosure Standards & Control at Morgan Stanley. Hasitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and is an alum of Stuyvesant High School.
