Desmond Thorsson is an experienced communications and technology professional currently serving as an Application Specialist at Meta within the Global Safety and Security Technologies division since June 2022. Thorsson has held various roles including Principal Specialist at Otaku Patrol Group Communications since February 1993, providing spectrum management and systems consulting. Additionally, Thorsson serves as a Communications Reserve for the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services since August 2021 and as a Telecommunications Specialist with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2004.
