Damian DeFazio, MBA, is a seasoned Construction Manager specializing in hyperscale data centers, currently employed at Meta since August 2024. Prior to this role, DeFazio was with Amazon Web Services from July 2020 to August 2024, where responsibilities included managing scope of work, material ordering, contractor selection, and project delivery in active data centers. DeFazio's earlier experience includes various engineering and management roles at Duke Energy Corporation, focusing on turbine services and emergency diesel systems, as well as serving in the US Navy as a Lieutenant and Naval Flight Officer. DeFazio holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from The University of Memphis.
