Catelyn Orsini possesses extensive experience in engineering and management roles across leading technology companies. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of VR Optics Hardware at Meta since November 2022, previous positions include Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer at Cisco. Catelyn also held product architecture roles at Poly and Plantronics, and served as Lead Acoustic Design Engineer at Eargo, where substantial contributions were made in designing a completely-in-canal hearing aid. Catelyn's foundation in acoustics and engineering was further established through previous roles at Apple, Hamilton Sundstrand, and Agere Systems. Catelyn holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and an MS in Acoustics from Penn State University, complemented by ongoing education at Udacity and the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
