Caitlin Vlastakis Smith is an experienced content design manager and strategist with a strong background in user experience (UX) design and content strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Content Design Manager at Meta since July 2022, Caitlin focuses on ensuring privacy and safety within Messenger and Instagram Direct. Previous roles include VP of Experience Strategy at New Kind, where expertise in content strategy and messaging architecture was applied to SaaS and open-source clients, along with founding Staki Strategy, LLC, providing UX and content strategy consulting to emerging companies. Caitlin has held significant positions at various firms, including Director of Service Design & Strategy at Globant and Executive Strategy Director at Centerline Digital, where leadership skills were demonstrated through team management and client engagement in tech and healthcare sectors. Educational accomplishments include a Master's degree in Interactive Media from Elon University and a Bachelor's degree in Art Applications and Creative Writing from North Carolina State University.
