Aviad Ariel is a Software Engineer at Meta, having joined in November 2024. Previously, Aviad served as the Principal Engineer for Autonomy Swarm Robotics at Data Blanket from January 2023 to December 2024, where significant contributions included creating and maintaining autonomous drones swarm control systems for first responders. From 2010 to July 2022, Aviad held various roles at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, including Head of Section, where management of three R&D teams led to optimal project performance, and as Software Engineering Manager, facilitating hands-on leadership in developing complex real-time applications. Earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on multi-agent real-time systems and algorithm development, as well as work as a Software Tester in Samsung Mobile's R&D Division. Aviad holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Reichman University.
