Ankit Malhotra is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across several prominent technology companies. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Ads Core ML at Meta, Ankit is responsible for driving machine learning innovation within the Signal Growth team. Prior to this, Ankit held multiple engineering management positions at Meta, focusing on communities, AI infrastructure, and Instagram. Ankit co-led the engineering team at NewsCred, overseeing the development of a microservices platform, and served as Director of Engineering. Previous roles include Engineering Team Lead at AppNexus, where Ankit managed a team processing billions of ad requests, and CTO and co-founder at Buyou, where Ankit built the technical architecture for a successful iPad app. Ankit's technical foundation includes software engineering roles at BrightWire and AppNexus, and an educational background with a Master's degree from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor's degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
