Janneke Wolken has diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Janneke is currently the Group CFO at XchangePlus, where they oversee the financial aspects of the company's software solutions and services for the real estate industry. Prior to this, they served as an Advisory Board / Consultant CFO for MeanBuy, an e-commerce platform in India, where they were responsible for financial projections, fundraising, operational reviews, and strategic advisory. Janneke also founded and was the CEO of Mestessa, a fashion and e-commerce company that introduced an innovative modular handbag. Furthermore, they were the Founder and CEO of Taft & Teak, a furniture and home staging company, and worked as a Volunteer in Financial Administration at the American Red Cross. Janneke also gained corporate banking experience as an Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing on relationship management for corporate clients. Janneke has worked at JPMorgan in structured finance, originating and structuring securitization and bond transactions. Janneke has a background in finance and started their career as a Trainee in DCM FIG Origination at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking. Janneke holds a position as Employee & Project Coordinator at Maastricht University, where they contribute to alumni office activities. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial management, business development, operational management, and strategic planning.
Janneke Wolken completed their undergraduate education at Maastricht University from 1997 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business Administration. Janneke also participated in a 6-month exchange program at Assumption University in 2001-2002, focusing on International Business Administration. Additionally, Janneke received a Propedeuse degree in Dutch Law from Maastricht University from 1999 to 2001.
