Jared Hansen has extensive experience in music education and community engagement, currently serving as the Assistant Choir Director and Accompanist at Northwest Public Schools since August 2020. In addition to this role, Jared is an Organist at Messiah Lutheran Church, and has held positions as Cantor, Accompanist, and Organist at St. Mary's Catholic Church, as well as Music Director and Organist at First Christian Church. Previous experience includes directing show bands and accompanying choirs at Grand Island Public Schools, along with teaching reading skills and music. Jared holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University and is passionate about community building, social enterprise, and grassroots mobilization for social justice.
