Alexis Sewell, M.Ed., UTA, is an experienced educator currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Forney Independent School District since July 2023, following a role as an Elementary School Teacher with Mesquite Independent School District. Previous teaching positions include elementary roles in Grand Prairie ISD and Life Schools, where lesson planning and supporting struggling students were key responsibilities. Additionally, Alexis has experience as an Instructional Aide and a caregiver at The Boys and Girls Club of Burkburnett. Alexis holds a Master’s degree in Educational Instructional and Curriculum Supervision from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
