Erika Hays is a Police Investigator at Mesa Police Department since November 2020, specializing in the Audio and Digital Media group, focusing on reviewing and redacting audio and video evidence. Previously, Erika served as a Crime Scene Specialist, responsible for evidence collection and preservation at various crime scenes. Work experience includes roles in the City of Mesa as an In Custody Unit Court Specialist and at the University of Phoenix as a Veteran Affairs Applications Specialist Level II, where Erika ensured compliance with Federal Veterans Affairs standards. Erika holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and an Associate of Arts in Human Services from the University of Phoenix, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration at Grand Canyon University.
