Renee Becnel is a seasoned legal and business affairs professional with extensive experience across various industries. As Vice President of Business Affairs and Chief Legal Counsel at Meridith Baer Home since December 2017, Renee leads legal strategy and business operations. Prior roles include serving as Outside General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for LightBeam Electric Company and Energy Asset Corporation, as well as Assistant General Counsel at Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Renee also held the position of Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel at Young & Rubicam and began their career as an Associate in the Business & Finance Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Academically, Renee earned an AB in Economics and French and a JD/LLM in Law with a concentration in International Law from Duke University.
