Anita Kelly has a diverse work history in the social services field. Anita began their career in 2008 as a Supervisor at Bassendean Out of School Care. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Youth Worker at Corridors College until 2013. From 2018 to 2019, Anita was a Youth Worker at Parkerville Children and Youth Care INC. Since 2019, they have been employed at MercyCare, starting as a Reconnect Caseworker and progressing to the role of Senior Case Worker. Currently, Anita holds the position of Coordinator- Family Wellbeing Support Service at MercyCare.

Anita Kelly has a diverse education history. Anita started by attending Swan Tafe where they earned a Diploma of Community Services with a specialization in Family and Community Services. Anita then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Curtin University from 2014 to 2019. Anita also pursued a Professional Certificate in Understanding childhood trauma at the University of South Australia in 2022. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Melbourne, where they are expected to complete a Graduate Certificate in Youth Mental Health between 2022 and 2024.
