Stephen Brinton serves as the Bioinformatics Manager at Mercy BioAnalytics, Inc. since May 2021, where responsibilities include collaborating with the Lab Team to develop a custom Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) utilizing technologies such as Jira, Node.js, and React. Prior to this, Stephen held various roles at Cell Signaling Technology from June 2012 to May 2021, including managing a bioinformatics programming team and successfully implementing automated pipelines for antibody development. Stephen's extensive experience also includes positions as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Gordon College, a Senior Pastor at Bethany United Methodist Church, and a Senior Systems Analyst at Unisys Corporation, among others. Stephen holds a Professional Certificate in Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has pursued graduate studies in Computer Science, culminating in a PhD candidacy.
