Ibukun Zabroski has 10 years of work experience, starting as a pre-registration pharmacist at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in 2011. Ibukun then worked as a clinical pharmacist for a military hospital before becoming a business development associate at Novartis, where they developed clinical presentations and provided updated therapeutics and disease management to healthcare professionals. In 2015, they became a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, followed by a graduate research assistant position at the University of Massachusetts from 2017-2020. Ibukun then worked as a graduate intern in downstream process development at Shire in 2018. In 2021, they joined Mercy BioAnalytics, Inc. as a research and development scientist, and after two years, was promoted to senior scientist.

Ibukun Zabroski holds a Bachelor's Degree (B.Pharm) in Pharmacy which was completed between the years 2005 and 2010 at the Obafemi Awolowo University. From 2015 to 2020, Ibukun Zabroski attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in BioMedical Engineering and Biotechnology.
