Matt Torabi is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience across various organizations and roles. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Operations Analyst at Mercury NZ since February 2022, Matt specializes in threat exposure management, incident management, and mentoring graduates. Prior to this role, Matt worked at EY as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst and Senior Technology Consultant, focusing on incident response and threat hunting. Previous positions include Cyber Security Analyst at Spark New Zealand, where responsibilities included blue team operations and DDoS defense, as well as Security Team Lead at Saman Bank, overseeing SOC functions and security procedures.
