Sterling Lutes has worked in the software engineering industry since 2012. Sterling began their career as an Intern at WPAFB: SATE Internship, where they worked as an OSX & IOS Developer. In 2014, they joined Encore Systems as a Software Developer. In 2015, they moved to Edora Solutions as a Software Developer - iOS Developer | Server Admin, where they worked on applications for staff managing employees and retail locations, as well as an application for customers to view and special order products. Sterling also handled server side scripting, iOS Development, Linux Server Administration, and MySQL. In 2016, they returned to Encore Systems as a Software Development - IT Administer - Server Administration, overseeing server and application based communications. Sterling also worked on the Mercedes Benz U.S. International - Production Tools Tracking System, a web based system designed to track the current status of over 5000 tools used in the production line daily. In 2012, Sterling Co-Founded Amnesiapps, where they worked as a Server Admin | iOS Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, Sterling joined Mercury Intermedia as an iOS Engineer.

Sterling Lutes completed their Technical Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Miami Valley Career Technology Center between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Northmont High School from 2008 to 2012 and obtained their High School degree.
