Ian Crosby currently serves as the Head of Accounting Products at Mercury, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ian was the Co-founder and CEO of Teal, where an embedded small business accounting platform was developed to assist neobanks and vertical SaaS companies. Ian's previous experience includes leading Financial Services at Shopify, managing diverse financial products, and serving as Product Director for Banking & Accounting at Bench, North America's largest bookkeeping service. Ian's career began at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant and included service as an Infantry Soldier Reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces. Ian holds a BCom (Honours) in Finance and Economics from The University of British Columbia.
