Markku Leskinen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting, leadership development, and executive search. Currently serving as Principal of the Nordics Desk Americas for Mercuri Urval since January 2022, Markku connects Nordic-based companies with top talent across various industries. Markku's roles have included board member at Huolenpito Helena Oy, focusing on healthcare improvements, and country manager of Weidmüller Nordic, where responsibility encompassed P&L and customer satisfaction for a multimillion-euro business. Markku has also held leadership positions at Sonepar Suomi Oy, Balentor, ISKU, Nokia, Microsoft, Akumiitti, and Ericsson, achieving significant market impacts and driving strategic growth initiatives. Markku holds a Master of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Jyväskylä and completed a program at INSEAD in 2006.
