Teng Peng is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in analytical chemistry and food science. Currently serving as a Sr. Scientist at Merck since June 2023, Teng previously held the position of Sr. Scientist II-Analytical Chemistry at J-STAR Research, Inc., where leadership of a team focused on method development for APIs and impurities was key. Prior roles include LC-MS Chemist at SGS, where method development for banned chemicals in consumer products was achieved, and Food Scientist at PIM Brands, Inc., where analytical laboratory management and formulation improvement were emphasized. Teng's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Food Science from Rutgers University, along with a Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Food Chemistry from Shanghai Ocean University.
