Shahin Aslam is an accomplished professional in the fields of immunology and microbiology, currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since May 2021. With a strong foundation built during a tenure at Merck Research Labs from October 2014 to May 2021, where Shahin held roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist, experience also includes significant contributions at MedImmune as an Associate Scientist II and Associate Scientist I, focusing on assay design and biomarker identification for vaccine development. Earlier roles included positions at Quidel and Genitope, and academic training as a graduate student at San Jose State University, where Shahin earned a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. An undergraduate degree in Agriculture was obtained from Kerala Agricultural University.
