Priscilla Velentgas is a seasoned professional in the field of epidemiology and pharmacoevidence, currently serving as the Senior Director for the BARDS Epidemiology Vaccines and Infectious Disease team at Merck since August 2022, focusing on Respiratory Disease Products. Previously, Priscilla held key leadership roles at IQVIA as Senior Principal Scientist and Global Category Lead Safety Evidence for Regulators, as well as Vice President of Science at Aetion, where management of a large scientific team was essential. With extensive experience at Quintiles and Outcome in epidemiology and observational research, and a strong academic background including a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, Priscilla has a proven track record of developing robust methodologies for studies and providing scientific expertise across various organizations.
