Junjie (Jay) Cao is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and analytical industries. Currently serving as Associate Principal Scientist and GMP Lab Manager at Merck since January 2021, Junjie has previously held significant roles such as Analytical Lab Supervisor/Senior Chemist at Nestlé Health Science and AR&D Scientist II at Lannett Company. Junjie began their career at Frontage Laboratories, Inc. as a Scientist and progressed through various roles, including Chemist I and II. Additional experience includes a position as Quality Assurance Associate/Chemist at Johnson & Johnson/Mcneil Consumer Healthcare, and serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Raymond Gorte Catalysis and Fuel Cell Research Laboratory. Junjie holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
