Joe Butcher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and analytics within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Digital Strategy and Product Delivery at Merck since July 2016. Notably, Joe co-led the development of a new digital strategy for Merck's Manufacturing Division and acted as Digital Product Lead for a global initiative focused on optimizing the use of data and technology in operations. Prior roles at Merck include Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics, where Joe spearheaded the transformation program across research and manufacturing, and Associate Director within the Corporate Strategy Office, where contributions enhanced risk management initiatives post-cyberattack.
