Jenelle Krishnamoorthy is the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Policy & Public Affairs at Merck, a position held since 2021. Previously, Jenelle served as Vice President, Head of Global Public Policy and International Affairs at Merck, and worked at the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions as Health Policy Director and Advisor from 2006 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they were the AAAS Diplomacy/Environment, Science, Technology and Health, India Desk Officer at the U.S. Department of State from 2004 to 2006. Jenelle is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pediatric Clinical Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University and has multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Biology from Randolph-Macon College, a Master of Science in Psychophysiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a residency/post-doc in Pediatric Clinical Psychology from Brown Medical School, along with completion of the Emerging Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
