Pawel Piwko, FCCA, has extensive experience in financial management and business partnering in the pharmaceutical sector. As of April 2016, Pawel serves as the Country CFO for Poland at Merck Group, and previously held roles including Controlling Manager for Biopharma Poland & Slovenia and Financial Controller for Poland & Baltics. From May 2004 to March 2016, Pawel was employed at GlaxoSmithKline in various capacities such as Finance Business Partner, Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant, Reporting Specialist, and Accountant, contributing to financial analyses, budgeting, statutory reporting, and financial project support across multiple business units. Pawel holds a Master of Arts in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Poznan University of Economics and Business and is a member of ACCA, having completed the qualification between 2007 and 2012.
