Damian Williams is an experienced professional in Lean Management and transformation, currently serving as the Head of Lean Excellence & Transformation at Merck Healthcare since April 2024. Prior to this role, Damian held the position of Principal at STAUFEN. from October 2015 to March 2024, specializing in Lean Management Consulting, Lean Leadership, and Supply Chain Network Redesign. With a solid foundation in Lean methodologies developed during tenure as Corporate Lean Master Pillar Member and Lean Manager at Nestlé from January 2010 to September 2015, Damian has significant experience in Lean implementation across South Africa. Earlier roles include Continuous Improvement Manager and Continuous Improvement Specialist at Mercedes-Benz South Africa, focusing on Lean Manufacturing and change management. Damian holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and has completed various leadership programs, including those at the London Business School and the University of Cape Town.
