Christina Schindler has extensive experience in computational chemistry and drug design, currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Computational Drug Design at Merck Gruppe since September 2016, where Christina leads a team of three computational chemists and co-leads early stage drug discovery projects. Prior roles include Associate Scientific Director, Principal Scientist, and Scientist, all focusing on drug design using computational tools to support in-house drug discovery efforts. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Technische Universität München and a scientific collaborator role at BASF. Christina holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from Technical University of Munich and a Diplom-Physikerin in Physics from Heidelberg University, supplemented by studies at Tsinghua Universität Peking.
