Robin Valk has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. In 2014, they worked as a Back-end Developer (Stagiair) at Eighty-Three Media. From 2015 to 2019, they held the position of Back-end Developer at Fruitcake, where they also briefly served as a Back-end Developer from 2015 to 2015. In 2017, they joined Merapar as a Software Engineer until 2018. In 2019, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Lumosa LED and later joined Merapar again as a Software Engineer. Overall, Robin has a strong background in software engineering and development.

Robin Valk began their education at Alfrink College Deurne in 2007, where they obtained a VMBO GT degree. Robin then attended SintLucas from 2011 to 2016, earning a degree in Media Development and specializing in Web Development. After that, they enrolled at Avans University of Applied Sciences and completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from 2016 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Robin has acquired several certifications. Robin obtained the PSD1, PSPO1, and PSM1 certifications from Scrum.org in 2020 and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019. In 2021, they also obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from AWS.
