Linda Porter serves as the Senior Manager of Health at Virgin Atlantic Airways since 1997, overseeing both passenger and employee health and the overall health policy, including operational and flight health management. The role involves leading a dedicated health management team to ensure innovative and risk-based services are delivered to employees and customers, while also managing responses to public health risks and crises. Previously, Linda held titles such as Head of Passenger Medical Services, Medical Services Manager, and Medical Training Manager, demonstrating a strong background in operational medical risk management and holistic passenger healthcare. Additionally, Linda contributes expertise as an Advanced Life Support Instructor with the Resuscitation Council (UK) and as a Mental Health First Aider for MHFA England. Academic achievements include a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute and completion of a course in Aviation Medicine at Monash University, alongside early career experience as a Registered Nurse in cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.
