Shania Selvendran is a fundraising professional with extensive experience in the arts and education sectors. Currently serving as a Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Officer at Mencap since October 2024, Shania also holds a position as a Board Member focused on Communications at Young Arts Fundraisers. Previous roles include Fundraising Officer at Oily Cart and Fundraising & Communications Assistant at Punchdrunk Enrichment, where responsibilities included supporting diverse income generation initiatives. Shania operated an independent consulting business that provided strategic fundraising support for clients since March 2023 and contributed to events and partnerships at the University of the Arts London. Additional experience encompasses internships and coordinating fundraising projects aimed at supporting artists during the pandemic.
