David Tratt, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and electrical consulting. Currently part of the Hardware Team at Menards since November 2022, David previously served as President of Clark Trombley Randers, a firm specializing in HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, and systems design, from January 1999 until retirement. Prior to that, David held various senior positions at SSOE Group from 1985 to 1999, including Senior Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Department Manager. Earlier in David's career from 1982 to 1985, experience as a Field Construction Engineer at Bechtel Power involved ensuring design compliance in the installation of mechanical systems at a large coal-fired power plant. David holds an MBA in Management from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
