Daniel Tunkel is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in financial regulation and investment funds. Currently a Partner and Head of Financial Regulation at Memery Crystal LLP since August 2018, Tunkel advises clients navigating the complexities of the UK's financial regulatory landscape and the burgeoning financial technology sector. Prior to this role, Tunkel served as a Partner at Howard Kennedy LLP, overseeing the investment funds and financial regulation practice, and at SJ Berwin LLP, where expertise was developed in the private equity, real estate, and hedge fund domains. Tunkel holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge, completed between 1981 and 1984.
