Tricia Hester has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Tricia started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2008 to June 2009. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Hot Yoga Tempe before transitioning into a Yoga Teacher role at Various Studios from June 2010 to August 2015.
Tricia then ventured into writing, working as a Contract Writer at Obu Interactive from November 2011 to January 2013, and at All Roads from February 2013 to February 2014.
In 2015, Tricia shifted their focus to teaching and became an English Teacher at Mesa Public Schools, where they designed and delivered engaging instruction aligned with state standards until June 2018. Tricia continued their teaching career at the Chandler Unified School District as an English Teacher from July 2018 to May 2020. During their tenure, Tricia collaborated with colleagues and designed curriculum for Science and Technical Writing, a senior-level English course for STEM-interested students, and co-wrote a successful Blue Ribbons School application.
From August 2020 to August 2022, Tricia worked as a Product Support Specialist at Membean, providing support for complex product questions and technical issues. In August 2022, they transitioned to the role of Product Support Lead. Tricia'smain responsibilities include understanding the product comprehensively to provide excellent support to customers, insights to the Product Team, and training to the Support Team. Tricia is adept at handling pedagogical, implementation, and student data inquiries, as well as identifying causes and delivering solutions for technical issues by collaborating with users and the Product Team.
Tricia Hester has a diverse education background. Tricia began their educational journey in 2004 at Arizona State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology. Tricia completed this program in 2008.
In 2007, Tricia attended The School for Field Studies, where they focused on Marine Ecology and Resource Management. However, it is important to note that they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
Tricia returned to Arizona State University in 2013 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature. Tricia successfully completed this program in 2015.
Continuing their education, Tricia enrolled at Arizona State University once again in 2015 and completed their Master's degree in Education (MEd) with a concentration in Secondary Education and Teaching in 2017.
