Gligor Dimov currently serves as the Head of Data for the SEE Region at Valtech since June 2018, focusing on Data Mesh implementation utilizing Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark/Python, and managing petabytes of data. Prior to this role, Gligor held multiple positions, including Data Team Lead at Retell Recorders and Head of the MK Office, where contributions included developing advanced call recording solutions with features like text-independent speaker identification and voice transcription using machine learning. Gligor's earlier experience encompasses software engineering roles at Printec Group of Companies, developing EMV transaction frameworks, and as an Embedded Software Engineer at Control Electronic, working on diverse embedded systems. Gligor holds an undergraduate degree in Computer System Engineering and Automation and is pursuing a Master's degree in Embedded Microcomputer Systems from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University.
