Girish Nair is an experienced neurosurgeon currently serving as the Head of Unit of Neurosurgery at Western Health and Director at Neuroaxis in Australia since July 2013. Nair has held multiple prominent roles, including Neurosurgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital since February 2013 and Director of Functional Neurosurgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health since October 2019. Previous positions include Spine Fellow at Austin Hospital and a fellow in Neurosurgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Nair has an extensive academic background, holding an MBBS from Medical College Kottayam and currently pursuing an MCh in Neurosurgery from Mahatma Gandhi University, alongside being a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 2012.
