William Chen possesses extensive experience in network engineering and technical support, currently serving as a Network Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services since April 2019, where responsibilities include project management, process improvement for network upgrades, and maintenance of automation templates. Prior to AWS, William worked at Optus from 2005 to 2018 as a Senior Technical Specialist specializing in IP Core/Edge Network Integration, providing Tier 3 technical support and managing vendor relations. William's earlier tenure at Cisco, from 1995 to 2005, included roles such as Cisco TAC Engineer and Customer Response Centre Consultant, delivering expert technical services and support to global business partners. William began their career as a Senior System Administrator at the Department of Corrective Services in 1995. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computing and Applied Mathematics from the University of New South Wales.
