Tao Jin is currently the Director of Engineering at Meituan, leading the Device Software team in the Drone Business Unit to develop efficient and reliable hardware and software platforms for drone delivery. Previously, Tao served as a Software Engineering Tech Lead and Manager at Google, overseeing the development of Nest Wifi products and playing a pivotal role in launching the successful 2nd Generation Nest Wifi Point. Tao has also held positions as Director of Software at Airlango, contributing to AI and computer vision technology for UAVs, and was a key contributor at Qualcomm on the Snapdragon Flight Drone Reference Platform. With experience dating back to research internships at Nokia and Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Tao holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
