Javier Chavarro has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry, with a focus on marketing and business development. Javier currently serves as the Business Development Manager for the Andean Region at CAC International. Prior to this, they worked as an International Professor at ESAN Graduate School of Business and as a Contributing Editor at AgriBusiness Global at Meister Media Worldwide.

Before their current positions, Chavarro was the Marketing Manager for Colombia at Nufarm, where they also served as the LATAM Crop Lead for Fruits & Vegetables. Javier has also held various marketing positions at Bayer, including Head of Marketing for the Andean Pact Country Group, Head of Marketing for High Value Crops in LATAM, and Head of Marketing for Peru and Ecuador.

Chavarro began their career as an Agronomist Engineer in Field Research & Development at Flores Mocarí Ltda. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in marketing, strategic planning, business development, and agricultural research and development.

Javier Chavarro has a diverse education history. Javier started their academic journey in 1982 at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they pursued a degree in Agronomy. Javier successfully completed their studies in 1990 and became an Agronomist Engineer.

In 1998, Javier obtained a diploma in Financial Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, focusing on areas such as Economic Sciences, Financial Mathematics, Accountings, Financial Diagnosis, and Decision criteria.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Javier enrolled at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in 2000 and completed a Marketing Management Specialist degree within a year. Javier'sfield of study specialized in Marketing.

To enhance their language skills, Javier attended The New England School of English / NESE - Cambridge MA in 2005. Javier engaged in an English as a Second Language (ESL) program with a focus on Business English.

In the following years, Javier pursued further education related to leadership and management. Javier attended the INCAE Business School until 2008, where they participated in the Top Management Program (PAG) and emerged as the valedictorian.

In 2009, Javier participated in the Global Marketing Academy Programme at Hult Ashridge, emphasizing their expertise in Marketing.

Lastly, in 2015, Javier completed a Leadership Curriculum - Leading Intercultural & Virtual Teams course at Bayer Academy Deutschland in Krefeld, Germany, strengthening their skills in managing intercultural and virtual teams.
