Val Papson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries. Val started their career at Rockford Products as a Cost Accountant in 1995. They then moved on to work at Newell Rubbermaid as a Senior Financial Analyst and later as a Marketing Controller from 1998 to 2005. Val's next position was at Aggreko, where they served as an Area Controller, responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, inventory control, and logistics supervision. From 2013 to 2016, Val worked as an Operations Manager at Aggreko, overseeing operations and managing a team. Currently, Val holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Meiborg Brothers Inc. starting from January 2019. They also previously held the role of Controller at the same company from June 2016.

Val Papson obtained an Associates degree in Accounting from Rock Valley College, which they attended from 1987 to 1989. Val then pursued a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Western Illinois University, where they studied from 1990 to 1992.
