Benoy Kumar is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Meggitt since January 2021, overseeing the design and development of next-generation actuators and valves for industrial gas turbines. Prior to this role, Benoy held various positions, including Project Manager at United Technologies from June 2007 to January 2021, where management of actuator and valve development took place, and Senior Project Engineer at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated from 2003 to 2007, focusing on air pollution instrumentation. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Engineering at Teradyne from 2000 to 2003, managing the development of automated x-ray machines for printed circuit board testing, and as a Senior Engineer at Kulicke and Soffa from 1995 to 2000. Benoy holds a Master's degree in Engineering Science from Penn State University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
