April Sockol is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and contract management within the healthcare and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Manager at Meggitt since May 2021, April specializes in supporting major government accounts in the braking systems and airframe systems division. Prior to joining Meggitt, April held various roles at Hitachi Healthcare Americas from April 2008 to May 2021, including Sales/Marketing Education Training Coordinator and Manager of GPO and Government Contracts, where responsibilities included managing a sales administration team and overseeing bid proposal coordination and contract management. Additionally, experience as a Bid Coordinator for Hitachi Medical Systems involved managing bids for high-end medical imaging equipment. April holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hillsdale College.
