Hayate Iso has a diverse work experience in research positions. Currently, they are working as a Research Scientist at Megagon Labs since April 2022, where they previously served as a Research Associate from April 2021 to April 2022. Before their roles at Megagon Labs, Hayate worked as a Contractor at the same company from January 2021 to April 2021.

In 2020, Hayate gained research experience through internships at Amazon from June 2020 to October 2020 and at Megagon Labs from February 2020 to June 2020.

Prior to these internships, Hayate pursued a Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1) at Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from April 2018 to February 2020. Additionally, they gained research intern experience at ByteDance from May 2019 to November 2019, at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) from October 2018 to December 2018, at Fuji Xerox in September 2016, and at RARE Technologies from July 2016 to September 2016 as a Student Incubator.

Hayate Iso obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Osaka University in the years 2014-2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, Hayate attended Ibaraki National College of Technology, where the specific degree achieved is not provided, but the field of study was Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Moving forward, Hayate pursued a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence at Nara Institute of Science and Technology during the academic year 2016-2017. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2021, Hayate continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree, specializing in Artificial Intelligence.
