Sergio Hernández Sánchez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sergio started their career as a Controller at IngenierÃa Eiffel Co. Basque Country University in 2008. From there, they worked as a Technical Engineer at Universidad de Salamanca, focusing on designing and optimizing a measuring software system. In 2009, Sergio joined Sentinel Spain S.L. as a Research and Development Fellow Engineer, where they specialized in 3D image visualization and analysis using OpenGL, Qt, and CUDA.
In 2010, Sergio joined Sarment Limited as an IT Engineer, managing a FTP server and consolidating information for a wine export guide. Sergio also worked at GoParallel S.L. as a Systems Analyst, where they contributed to the development and optimization of a simulator for magnetic devices. Sergio returned to Sarment Limited the same year as an IT Project Manager, overseeing an online store and assisting with ERP implementation.
In 2012, Sergio became the Head of IT at Sarment Limited, managing IT projects such as the ERP solution with Odoo and the eCommerce platform with Magento. Sergio also planned and implemented servers infrastructure for company expansion. Sergio's next role was at MEGA Cloud Services in 2015, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in SDK and MEGAchat development.
Currently, Sergio works at MEGA Cloud Services as a Team Leader, leading a team and supervising the development and maintenance of company products. Their expertise lies in the area of the SDK and MEGAchat, allowing developers to create various types of apps using the MEGA Cloud storage service and chat-engine.
Sergio Hernández Sánchez received their education in the field of Computer Science Engineering. Sergio completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Salamanca in the years 2001-2005. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from both the Universidad de Salamanca (2005-2010) and the Universidad del PaÃs Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (2006-2007).
