Brett Dumais is an experienced Power Engineer with a career spanning from 2006 to the present. Currently serving as a Control Room Operator at MEG Energy Corp. since August 2009, Brett is responsible for operating and monitoring processes, de-oiling, and field panels, in addition to handling well conversions, lockouts, permits, well swaps, and daily field rounds. Prior to this role, Brett worked as a Floor Hand at Ensign Energy Services from June 2006 to May 2009, where responsibilities included the routine operation of a super single slant drilling rig and maintenance tasks such as servicing the floor motor and repairing mud pumps. Brett holds a degree in Power Engineering Technology from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, completed between 2007 and 2009.
