Isobel Ballsdon currently serves as the Chairman of the Reading Central Conservative Association with the Conservative Party since September 2024. In addition, Isobel is an Account Director and former Senior Account Manager at Meeting Place, where responsibilities include project management, lobbying, and public consultation. Since May 2006, Isobel has been a Local Councillor for Reading Borough Council, focusing on Planning and Education, and has chaired multiple committees related to these areas. Previous roles include Governor and Chair of Governors at The Avenue School Special Needs Academy Trust, Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Centre for Social Justice, and Caseworker for Rob Wilson MP. Isobel is an experienced public speaker and advocate with strong connections in local government and community projects. Education was completed at Wellington College in Berkshire.
