Walter Schreppers is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in software development and research. Currently serving as a Freelance R&D specialist at Vlaams Instituut voor Archivering (VIAA), Walter has implemented a GraphQL API for over 50 sites and is developing an S3 proxy for VRT and other clients. As Co-Owner of AnyKey.shop, Walter patented a concept in 2011 and launched production in 2019. Walter's entrepreneurial endeavors also include running Scalable IT, a company focused on IoT projects and embedded applications. Previous roles include Lead Python Developer at ENGIE, Full Stack Developer at AirShaper and Antser NV, and R&D contractor for various companies. Walter holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp and has a solid educational foundation in mathematics and sciences from Sint-Aloysius College.
