Syed Hassan has over 25 years of experience in the IT field, currently serving as a Director at Medtronic since August 2015, with prior roles including Senior IT Manager and Sr. Principal Architect. At Target, from August 2003 to August 2015, Syed was an Engineering Consultant and Team Lead, focusing on the design and promotion of technology solutions for Business Intelligence platforms and establishing architectural standards aligned with corporate IT strategy. Earlier, between 1995 and 2003, Syed held the position of Lead Database Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities included the design and development of IT standards for IBM DB2 RDBMS across multiple platforms. Syed Hassan holds an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business and a BS in Management Information Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
