Chris Richter currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Operations at MedStar Health since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the Emergency Medicine service line in a non-profit health system with an annual revenue of $5 billion and managing 450,000 visits across seven hospitals. Prior to this role, Chris worked at ECI Emergency Consultants, Inc. from 2005 to January 2019 as Regional Director, focusing on business development, contract management, clinical and operational leadership, and performance improvement for a revenue range of $30-50 million. Chris holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Boulder.
